Zack Turns One

Zack turned 1 on this past weekend and I can hardly believe it. Time goes by so fast with these little ones, I absolutely love them to Death!! This year we planned a beach themed Birthday Party. We were suppossed to set up the big Bonzai and little giraffe pool and head to the Zoo in the morning and then.....it RAINED (All Day Long). Lol, isn't that how life goes, so instead we had a Beach Party inside. It was still a really good time for all. How can it not be with delicious cake, fun presents, party guests and adorable smiles. As you can see the cake is a Beach Ball and the first one I have made! Thanks to my Aunt for being my Mentor :)...Thanks Aunt Patti. Since we are in Kansas I wanted you guys to be able to see all the pictures, so sorry if there are so many. Can't wait to have another little fun party for him when we get home. We do love and miss all of you. Happy Birthday to Carter tomorrow, I am sure Zack and him will be great friends since they are so close in age! More to come...I will be posting Father's Day as soon as I upload the photos :)

How could I forget

Oh yes, how could I forget the other morning when I was in the shower. I did leave the door open, just in case, but in this case that did not work. My little Tyler found a permanent marker in Daddys backpack and decided to draw (luckily not a ton), but on himself, the remote, tv, door and couches. Last but not least, Zacks head!! Yes his head, thank goodness not his face. Here is a little video clip. We are entering the "terrible two stage" Lol...Here is just one of the many things he does. I have to put away my kitchen table chairs because he moves them over to the counter, stands on them and tries to grab anything within his reach. Gotta love it!!

Also, Zack is crawling on all fours, HOORAY!! And if anyone has any suggestions on HOW TO TAKE OUT PERMANENT MARKER, PLEASE SHARE!!

Fun Weekend

Last weekend some of our friends invited us to Wolf Creek. What a fun way to start off the New Year!! Even though it was only Friday night through Sunday morning we had a ton of fun. We ended up having delicious food, playing raquetball, games, sledding and hot tubbing. Here is a fun picture after Hot Tubbing. Needless to say, we didn't know that only hand towels were offered once you got out of the Hot Tub and that you weren't even aloud to bring those back to your room..lol. So here we are with our frozen hair, swimming suits and raquets. Thanks for a great weekend.
